Human Research Resources
Both quantitative and qualitative services and expertise are provided.
Quantitative research support is available through consultation, training, and/or access to behavioral instrumentation and expertise for the purposes of tool development/testing, clinical behavioral assessment/diagnosis, and project/intervention monitoring/evaluation. A particular focus is on psycho-social-cultural measurement and psychometrics (i.e., item development/analysis, reliability, validity).
Support for qualitative research is available through consultation, training, and/or assistance for more open-ended data collection and analysis (e.g., interviews, focus groups) that are oftentimes necessary for more community-based behavioral and exploratory research in underrepresented minority populations.
